Amsterdam Osdorp Fishing Holland Carp Floater Hunter secret

Amsterdam Osdorp is a well known carp fishing spot, then we are talking about the Sloterplas lake and maybe some spots at the Plesmanlaan.

In 1981 we moved from Old Amsterdam West to Amsterdam Osdorp and lived there for about 12 years.
In this time, we have caught them all, mirror, common and leather carps.

During the last three years, we were able to leave the elderly home and we moved to a nice appartement, only just 100 meters from one of the big Sloterplas walls.
The fishing we were able to perform there, was on a dayly basis possibility, as we choose this to be our first home swim and we discovered some of the area´s carp secrets.
 
We are writing this article, to provide tips for the area, after a tourist request made and also for people searching fishing options for the Osdorp area or Amsterdam Fishing.

For example, fishing on carp at one of the local bridges at Slotervaart, just 100 meters away from the Sloterplas harbor.
We discovered this to be one of the greatest places in the area. On several occasions, we have been able to generate 7 bites of carps, in just 30 min, when bivvy fishermen at that moment, needed to deal with just three in one weekend !

What's happening on this example spot ? The carps use this as a travelling route especially more frequently
in the spring and autumn time. This event also occures on dusk and dawn periods.
The cloose bridge at 20m is a good spot for predators like zander or pike.

When you choose to go carp or mixed fishing with floaters, the active way, we would recommend this spot, to try, for sure.
Amend your boilies to peanuts and fish mixed with corn, to catch big Carp, Roaches and Golden Roaches living here.
When we say big, we mean HUGE ! and worth admiration.

The Top-Spot is straight near the small bridge at the opening. Were bivvy fishermen will choose distance, you will be able to catch the biggy ones at just 1,5 meter. Make little noise and just enjoy.

Park your car at the Eastonstraat and go below the tramway and choose at the Sloterplas right and again right at 100meters, without crossing the cloosed bridge to walk to one of fishing spots shown here on this page. You can cross the cannal at the triangled bridge hidden at the end.

A nice unexpected Top Amsterdam Carp Floater Fishing spot, untill this moment, known to a few people only.
