We herewith refer to all questions about Dutch Sports fishing regulations and licenses. Some questions are : Where to get the fishing license ? Do we need a fishing license ? Do you need to have done fishing exams to gain a fishing license ? We a trying to write some usefull informations to arrange some clearer guiding, then is findable yet, on the internet. When you are Fishing in Holland in the Fresh waters, you require the right Fishing Documents to forecome problems with the Dutch Law. For Sea-Fishing, there is still no license for Fishing required(watch out with bait finding on common grounds - there may be a legislation) In Holland we have a seperated area-licensed system. That means that there are lots of fishing licenses that can be bought, for lots of fishing places, for a short(day), longer(week) or year period. When you are planning, or have planned a fishing trip, you can do 4 things.
The issuance of the Dutch Fishing documents, is handled by the Koninklijke Sportvisserij Nederland. For this purpose, they have invented the Vispas, which you will gain only, when you need the year license and become a union member for a certain area. You can have more than 1 license, when you are fishing in different area's, but it also might be that your license coveres the total routing your are travelling, by boat for example. Feel free to contact us, or use the internal system for more info. Right for Tight lines with the right fishing documents only !
